Joyce Choi Li currently serves as the Manager of Digital Projects and External Partnerships in the Office of New York City Council Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito. She joined the Council in 2014 to work on immigration, transportation, and technology issues, including the implementation of IDNYC, Vision Zero, and Council 2.0. Joyce cut her teeth for six years as a community organizer and digital strategist for LGBTQ, anti-poverty, and police accountability campaigns, and is also currently a Henry Hart Rice Urban Planning Fellow at NYU Wagner. A Brooklyn boroughbred, Joyce enjoys making dumplings and riding bikes in her spare time.
